All proceeds will benefit the Girl Scouts - Heart of Ohio, Inc. Camp Cornish Lodge Building

Location:      The former Montgomery Wards/Sewing Center Building

217 S. Main St., Mount Vernon.

Donations of saleable items of all types are requested

clothing is not requested unless it is of unusual interest and value.

Only "overstuffed" furniture in excellent condition is desired.

Please provide only items in usable condition.  We do not want to have items that we will have to put in a dumpster after the auction.

The location will be open to accept donations every Saturday in March from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Arrangements will be made to pick up items if they can not be physically delivered to the location.

Receipts will be provided for donors based on the actual sale amount of the items.

Jerry Scott is volunteering his auctioneering services and there is no cost for use of the building. Accordingly, 100% of the proceeds will be used to benefit the Camp Cornish lodge project.  Building of the original lodge at Camp Cornish, which the new lodge is replacing, was the first project of the Mount Vernon Rotary Club in 1947.  The new lodge is tentatively scheduled for dedication on May 17, 2008.
